1. Translators (Japanese-English)
We are in need of japanese to english translators urgently for various manga titles.Those who can read japanese characters, have time and are committed (no sudden MIAs) are encouraged to apply.Onegaishimasu!
2. Translators (Chinese-English)
Chinese to english translators wanted!! Must be fluent, committed and also fast since we also have many titles waiting in chinese.
3. Translators (Korean-English)
We are in need of korean translators as well..We need korean translator for Honggane to help Lenny so she won't die due to translating exhaustion. If you are capable of translating korean to english, committed and fast, please do apply!!
4. English Proofreader (Applications Closed)
We need at least 2 more new english proofreaders. Must be highly proficient in english language and able to reconstruct a sentence without losing its meaning when needed. Must be fast, doesn't need us to check on your proofing and must be someone who couldn't stand english grammatical errors.
5. Cleaners
Those who can clean well but have no time to edit the entire chapter of a manga, here's a chance for you to still be able to help out in scanlating your favorite mangas. Must be highly skilled in photoshop and able to clone, clean out gutter shadow and sfxs. Must also be committed and fast!
6. Typesetters
Those who don't like to clean(yes, we know cleaning is sometimes time consuming and tedious) but still wants to edit, you can apply to be a typesetter. Must be fast and willing to experiment with different types of fonts according to suitability of a manga.
7. Quality Checkers
Sharp eyes, skilled in photoshop/editing and perfectionist is what we are looking for in a QCer. We need to produce HQ scanlations so QC stage is very important. Those who think that we are not doing a good enough job with QC, accept the challenge and take us to a better HQ releases!
8. Scanners/Raw Providers
Basically, we are looking for those who have good scanning ability, fast and committed. For example, take a look at shoujoshare's raws. Besides that, we would like to have a fast scanner who can scan nice titles from comics such as LALA and such or who don't mind spending money to buy mangas and scan it for us. We wouldn't mind some recommendations from you too.
9. Colourists /Graphicer
We want colourists or graphicer who is good with photoshop and those who have some time aside their normal life to work in a manga scanlation team but not as much to be an editor or Qcer. Sample of works are required to be sent in with application. A colourist or graphicer will basically colour any required pages for a manga release and also create extra release pages(like Xmas wish from WS and so on..)for our manga releases.
Forum Management Staff
1. Moderators (Limited to 2 openings until further notice)
We are in need of committed moderators who can be there in the forum at least a few hours everyday or most days of the week. We need the moderators to handle things when we are not around, remove spams and monitor members' posting behaviors. Moderators are also in-charge of updating manga,manhwa and scanlators infos. A too-strict moderating style is not required as we are very laid back. MIA-prone applicant need not to apply.
2. Uploaders
We are looking for those who have an extensive amount of manga/manhwa collections and are always up-to-date with latest releases from other groups to be posted in our forum after the cooling period.Uploaders are also in charge of updating lists of uploaded items in the forum. Those who tend to MIA are not welcome to apply.Uploaders that we need are:
a. Manga & Manhwa Uploaders
b. Music Uploaders
c. Anime Uploaders
